Problem Statement
Seeing all people on campus losing their valuables on campus everytime, I realize that the campus has no concrete solution on this matter. By analyzing this problem's pain points, an idea of an application came up that aims to solve this recurring problem once and for all. Introducing LostandFoundApp, a mobile application that handles all matters regarding lost and found items on campus. This is a platform where people can find and report lost items on campus that can be readily accessible by using your phone.

Objectives
The objective of this application is mainly to give a platform for people on campus to report lost items and claiming lost items.

Research
Using a whiteboard as a way to sketch out all possible ideas allows us to come up with various solutions in a different approaches. By starting with defining extensively what the problem is, the aim and goal of this app, as well as listing all possible solutions to the problem. User flow diagram provides a visual representation of the general flow when the user is using the app. Functional and Non-functional requirement is included to have priority when in development process.

Methodology
The wireframe sketch is helpful when planning before diving in into the development stage (coding). The wireframe includes all possible scenarios and also the components to be used in the finalized app design.

The app will have a floating action button that is readily accessible within the homepage to allow a fast and efficient when the user wants to use.

To report a lost item, user can filled out the form needed. The user interface design for this section has been developed in a way such that it is understandable by everyone.

One problem that we found that can be a potential loophole in the system is that people can claim other people items. Although we came up with various possible solutions to combat the issue of claiming other people items such as:
Using NFC as a way of authentication
Using Bluetooth for the validation process
We ended up in settling to upload the claimer's identity that includes their full name, id number, email, and phone number as well as to include a picture when claiming the item. This is done to ensure that only the owner of the item that can claim the item.

Future Works
Due to the tight timeline for this project we have left several functions and features for future updates.

Remarks
This project taught me how to create a product that can impact people's everyday lives. Thus, a simple and straightforward app that includes all the necessary features is my main priority when developing this app. Although, there are many better ways that can be implemented, this app is sufficient for a mobile app that is designed and developed from scratch by an individual.
